Five reasons to run the Bendigo Ford Fun Run

Have you entered the 2023 Bendigo Ford Fun Run yet? No? We have 5 reasons why you should!

1. All proceeds are donated to Bendigo Health

All proceeds are donated to Bendigo Health, which will be directed to the proposed children’s outdoor rehabilitation play space. In 2022, a whopping $25,000 was donated! Wow. Definitely something to be a part of.

2. Aiming high

We have set the stakes high this year and we aim to get 2,000 participants in the 2023 Fun Run! Bring your netball team, cricket team and everyone in your office or workplace! Our team at Physiotherapy Centre Bendigo will all be entering across the different events. This includes the new Bendigo Business Challenge, presented by TSFN.

3. The Bendigo Ford Fun Run is family friendly!

We have a distance for everyone, from a 1km Kids Dash to the 21 km event. At Physiotherapy Centre Bendigo, we actively promote that each and every member of our community should be participating in physical activity and exercise. What better way to do that than challenge yourself with a Fun Run that the whole family can enjoy.

4. It can be protective against arthritis!

Recreational running can actually have a PROTECTIVE effect against developing knee arthritis! Contrary to popular belief that recreational running damages your joints. Use it or lose it!

5. There’s savings on offer through Physiotherapy Centre Bendigo

To help all Fun Run entrants, the team at Physiotherapy Centre Bendigo are offering a special Fun Run Discount for any Physiotherapy bookings. We can assist with any running niggles you may have, manage injuries and provide advice to get your training started! Please call our reception on 5442 4044 and make a booking with our Physiotherapist and Fun Run Ambassador Loryn.
