1km Kids Dash

Jenny’s ELC presents this 1km event that is set exclusively for under 12s. The Jenny’s ELC 1km Junior Dash will see youngsters start at the main start line, zip through the sealed paths in Rosalind Park, around the fernery and return via the northern end.
They will get to experience the thrill of finishing through main finish line to the cheers of many family and friends. Times aren’t important, having a go and having fun is key!
Parents are more than welcome to accompany their children throughout this event at no cost.

Start line is within Rosalind Park between the Rotunda and the ‘BENDIGO’ sign.
The Finish line is near the Rotunda within Rosalind Park.
BIB COLLECTION
Bibs will NOT be posted out prior to the event.

Mon 24th Feb - Fri 28th Feb: Between 10:00am-5:30pm
From VERVE Running, 114 Williamson St, Bendigo
BIB COLLECTION - RACE WEEKEND
From Rosalind Park Event Village, near the Rotunda.
Entry near Sidney Myer Place.
Saturday 1st March: Between 3:00pm – 6:00pm
Sunday 2nd March: From 6:30am onwards.
AGE RESTRICTIONS
This event is for children aged 12 years and younger as of the date of the event.
Parents and guardians are encouraged to accompany their children at no cost.

Participants will all start together.

WATER / AID STATIONS
At the start and finish locations. Please note these are water only.
ENTRY FEES
Early Bird Entry Fee: $10.00
(Until midnight 31st January)
Regular Entry Fee: $15.00
(Until midnight Friday 28th Feb)
Late Entry Fee: $25.00
Entry fee includes GST and third party booking fees.
PRIZES
No prizes or placegetters are awarded for the 1km Kids Dash.
(We want the emphasis to be on fun and participation, not fast times.)
INCLUSIONS
Finisher medals, professional timing, first aid support, a safe run course, road closures and, of course, fun!
All proceeds raised are donated to Bendigo Health Foundation.
