Our super popular 5km event is open to all runners, joggers and walkers and forms part of our Bendigo Business Challenge.
The course leaves the beautiful, shady Rosalind Park and winds its way down a closed Bridge Street to Nolan Street near Lake Weeroona. After taking a u-turn around an immaculate Ford car (straight from the Bendigo Ford showroom!) you’ll return along Bridge street and continue through the Dai Gum San Chinese precinct.
Taking a right hand turn up the Park Rd hill towards the Tom Flood velodrome, you’ll pass by the imposing Ulumbarra Theatre on Gaol Rd and take a loop around the perimeter of the Queen Elizabeth Oval (QEO). From here you return to Rosalind Park via Gaol Rd and Park Rd.
Many beautiful sights, plenty of shade, good quality hard surfaces and a few pleasant surprises await all walkers and runners.
You’ll return to Rosalind Park via the northern end to the applause of family, friends and spectators.

Saturday 1st March: Between 3:00pm – 6:00pm
Sunday 2nd March: From 6:15am onwards.
Bibs will NOT be posted out prior to the event.
AGE RESTRICTIONS
All children under the age of 13 years must be accompanied by an adult
WAVE START DETAILS
This event will see runners, walkers, teams, and families all sent out in three waves for a safe and happy experience:
First Wave: Runners under 35 minutes
Second Wave: Joggers over 35 minutes and walkers
Third Wave: Prams.
Please select your preferred wave during registration.

WATER / AID STATIONS
2.5 km & 4 km
There will be drink and aid stations, manned by local volunteer groups, along all course routes and at the start and finish locations. Please note these are water only.
