The Bendigo Ford Fun Run will return to the streets of Bendigo on Sunday 1 March 2026 … and YOU’RE INVITED TO JOIN IN THE FUN!
Over $215,000 raised to date for the Bendigo Health Foundation.
IT’S Bendigo: OUR gold rush city
We believe that a morning run with the sun on your face is one of the freshest ways to enjoy our regional city.
You’ll pass by a series of iconic Bendigo locations including Rosalind Park, Ulumbarra Theatre, the Dai Gum San Chinese Precinct and the Queen Elizabeth Oval (QEO).
At the end, flush with endorphins, you’ll have no doubt that Bendigo in autumn is glorious.
It’s fun: fast times aren’t the most important thing.
No need for fast splits and flashy running kits here.
We want to bring the people of Bendigo and beyond together for a great cause.
Have fun and give much needed support to the Bendigo Health Foundation while you’re doing it!
It’s a run (… or a walk)
Not everyone feels that the words ‘fun’ and ‘run’ should be in the same sentence.
If you’re one of them, we suggest having a ‘walk and talk’ instead.
Whatever your preference, joining the Bendigo Ford Fun Run guarantees you a magnificent course, improved wellbeing, and the knowledge that your effort will encourage others to get moving, too.

1KM KIDS DASH
Let your kids experience the thrill of finishing through the main finish line to the cheers of many family and friends!

3km SHORT COURSE
A great 'stepping stone' distance stepping for older primary school students and those who might find the 5km distance a bit too much. Presented by Powers Country Express.

5KM RUN/WALK
Many beautiful sights, plenty of shade, good quality hard surfaces and a few pleasant surprises await all walkers and runners. Presented by G.J. Gardner Bendigo.

10km Fun Run
Leave and return from the lawns of Rosalind Park, and take in some beautiful sights of our ‘gold rush’ city. Presented by Fosterville Gold Mine

21.1km Half Marathon
The longest event in our Bendigo Ford Fun Run is also one of the most enjoyable and flowing. A scenic journey through Bendigo’s CBD. Presented by KIESER Bendigo.

We were formed in 2021 to create community-led, safe, fun and active events that benefit local charities and our local community. The team includes Geoff O’Sullivan and Nigel Preston, who help deliver the Bendigo Ford Fun Run.
